From March 9 to March 10, a training course was held in the lecture hall on the fifth floor in “North High Building”, which was themed on college student career planning and guidance, and aimed at improving teachers’ ability in that area.

The lecture delivered by Liu Hongxia, associate professor in Capital Normal University with a postdoctor degree in Renmin University of China

The training lecture was jointly organized by Career Guidance Centre and Students Affairs Department and delivered by Liu Hongxia, associate professor in Capital Normal University with a postdoctor degree in Renmin University of China. Meanwhile, it was hosted by Liang Zeguang, the Director of Career Guidance Centre with a speech given by Wei Lifeng, the Head of Students Affairs Department, and attended by over 80 leaders and teachers from Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, Hebei GEO University, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, Tianjin Transportation Technical College, Liren College of Yanshan University, Hunan University of Chinese Medicine etc.

With profound academic accomplishment and abundant practical experience, Professor Liu elaborated career planning on three questions, which were “what”, “why” and “how”. She introduced the structure design, content construction, teaching methods, evaluation system and team construction of career planning course. Meanwhile, she highlighted the techniques of career planning and guidance and provided precious experience for the relevant courses. Professor Liu was employed as visiting professor, and the letter of appointment was given by Liang Zeguang on behalf of HBAFA.

HBAFA places high importance on the construction of student administration and career guidance teachers and sticks to the “bringing in and sending out” strategy. The training course further improved the innovative capability of student administration teachers, and made career guidance teachers more professional.
