On March 27, Haikou in Hainan Province saw the awarding ceremony of International Micro Film Competition in the 3rd Golden Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival. The works One Kilometre and HuiZhu, directed by students majoring Broadcast and Television Directing in the School of Media, won the “Outstanding Works Award”.

The screening activity, empowered by China Film Association, is the only one micro film screening activity with the official admission. The 3rd international micro film screening activity collected 7,300 works, including those recommended by the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of CPC, the Ministry of Public Security, the SASAC of State Council, the State Administration of Taxation, National Health and Family Planning Commission of PRC, the All Federation of China Trade Unions as well as those given by companies, institutions and institutions in China and beyond. According to the rules, all the works will go through three round of judge. The final round will take place in China Film Association on March 13. The judges, who are ministry leaders and judges of Gold Rooster & Hundred Flowers Film Festival, Huabiao Awards, National Five Top Project Award, will select 173 outstanding works and 15 distinctive organizing units.
