On March 29, Beijing saw the press conference of “One Belt One Road—Sino-Russia Culture Carnival”in 2018 World Cup. Wang Feng, the President of the School of Media, was appointed as the executive chairman of the big event.

The press conference was hosted by Li Zhiyong, the Secretary of the Organizing Committee. The event will be hosted by the relevant departments of China and Russia, and undertaken by local governments along the “One Belt One Road”. Starting from Beijing, the participants will drive over 100 motor homes to Moscow and Sochi in Russia to watch the World Cup.

The press conference was supported by the Promotion Association of Chinese Traditional Culture in the Ministry of Culture, and sponsored by the Organizing Committee of Sino-Russia Culture Carnival. The event is aimed to implement the spirit of Xin Jinping’s Thoughts on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the new era, strengthen the friendship between China and Russia, and carry forward the fighting spirit of the World Cup.
