On March 23, HBAFA’s calligraphy exhibition in National Art Museum of China(NAMOC) greeted leaders and experts, including Zhang Ping, a member of the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress, Vice Director of Education, Science, Culture and Health Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of China Democratic League, and Zhuang Wei, a member of the Standing Committee of National People’s Congress and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of China Democratic League. Accompanied by President Zhen Zhongyi, Managing Vice President Zhang Jianmin and others, the leaders and experts visited the works on display, spoke highly of the exhibition and put forward their sincere hopes.

Liu Zhengcheng, the well-known calligrapher, was also there, who gave comments upon some works. Wu Weishan, the Head of NAMOC, received the visitors warmly and shared the historical significance of the exhibition.

President Zhen Zhongyi elaborated on the teaching philosophy of calligraphy, the works of students and teachers, and the practice in inheriting and carrying forward traditional culture, which won people’s recognition.

The Teaching Achievements Exhibition of the School of Calligraphy, HBAFA on the 10th Anniversary lasts from March 16 to March 28 in NAMOC. It has caused stir and discussion in society. The exhibition shows the teaching achievements of the Academy in calligraphy over the past decade and the result of education reform. Though the exhibition is limited in time, it is unlimited in influence.
