In recent days, the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on the Publicity of Filed and Authorized Undergraduate Majors in 2017. Five majors, which were Architectonics, Art History Theory, Comics, Digital Media Technology and Art Education, were filed by the Ministry of Education.

To deepen education and teaching reform, optimize major structure and resource allocation, and improve talents’ quality, HBAFA actively expands the space of applied majors and promotes the coordinated development of different disciplines by focusing on the Academy’s guiding principle and orientation and meeting the needs of economy and society. After the approval, there will be 28 undergraduate majors in HBAFA, covering engineering and art. It is significant for HBAFA to cultivate applied talents and build high-level university.
