On the 10th of January in 2018, Professor He Zhipu, the Director of Teaching and Research Department of the Academy of Arts of Hebei University and the Master’s Supervisor, was invited by the General Course Department of HBAFA to give a lecture, entitled The Value and Mechanism of Aesthetic Education, in Zhengcheng International Lecture Hall. All the teachers and students of HBAFA attended the lecture, which was presided by the Director of General Course Department, Qi Ruiming.

Combining with theory and his own experience, Professor He Zhipu explained the theories of aesthetic education in an easily understandable way with many examples in work and life. All the attendees were attracted by his humor and gave waves of applause from time to time. In such an easy and happy atmosphere, the teachers learned the significance of aesthetic education for college students and how to exert a subtle influence on students’ aesthetic ability in class.

He Zhipu (1965-), male, from Ren county in Hebei Province, and a professor in Hebei University, has published Art Education (coauthored), The Painting Aesthetics and Art Theory of Shi Tao, as well as many papers in aesthetics and art, and chiefly edited or co-edited many books at the same time.
