1. Introduction

“Asia Students Package Design Competition” is an event for students majoring in package design at school in Asia to communicate and compete with each other, which was lauched by Japan International Communication Fund Association and hosted by Japan ASPaC Affairs Bureau. From 2010 to 2017, it has been successfully held four times, attracting students from Japan, the Republic of Korea, China Mainland, China Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam etc. In the 2018 competition, the Organizing Committee of ASPaC China Mainland Area is composed of the Design Committee of China Package Association, Shanghai Package Technology Association and Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. Entrusted by Japan ASPaC Affairs Bureau, Shanghai Package Technology Association takes charge of competition organization, works collection, works evaluation, exhibition participation and so on.
