On September 15th, North China University of Science and Technology witnessed the Hebei Qualification Trial of the Twelfth International Contest of Innovation in 2018. Some projects produced by HBAFA students won several awards, such as FaceE, Electronic Guide Dog, Yidian Homeschooling Platform.

International Contest of innovation, shorted as iCAN, is aiming to promote the innovative spirit and entrepreneurship of young generation worldwide, to setup platform of collaboration among Education & Academy & Industry, to create applications for high-tech, especially in micro and nano technology, Internet of things, intelligent manufacturing, Industry 4.0, etc. iCAN is globally co-organized by the iCAN Association, ESIEE, ENS, Peking University, VDE, IEEE NTC, ANF, MEMS Park Consortium, Nano-Tera and Chinese International NEMS Society.
