On June 15th, Honam University in South Korea celebrated the 40th anniversary. Invited by Honam University, Zhen Zhongyi, the Dean of Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, and his team attended the ceremony. In honor of Zhen Zhongyi’s contribution to education, regional economy and China’s art, Honam University conferred on him the degree of honorary doctor. The moment was witnessed by Zhang Jianmin, Managing Vice President, Zhen Xinheng, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection and Vice President, and Zhang Li, Chief Financial Officer.

It is known that Zhen Zhongyi is the first Chinese, who was given the honorary doctor degree.

Before the ceremony, Piao Jiren, the Chairman of Board of Honam University, met Zhen Zhongyi and his team. Zhen Zhongyi extended warm congratulations on the 40th anniversary and deep gratitude on the grant of honorary doctor degree.

After the ceremony, Zhen Zhongyi and his team visited the campus of Honam University and exchanged views cordially with teachers and students there.
