On April 16, Cao Mingquan, the Head of Xinhua News Agency in South Korea, was invited by the School of Media to give a lecture, entitled The Comparison between Sino-Korean Culture Industry and the Future Trends, in Zhengcheng International Lecture Hall. The lecture was attended by Zhen Zhongyi, the President of HBAFA, Wang Feng, the President of School of Media, as well as the teachers and students in Film and Television Department.

The Lecture

Cao Mingquan explained “Korean wave” in simple terms, touched upon its influence on China and beyond, and compared Chinese and Korean culture industries. Then, Cao Mingquan interacted with the attendees. The lecture is of guiding significance to Chinese culture industry.
