From April 10 to 11, HBAFA saw the 2018 work conference of the Hebei Committee of China Democratic League. In the conference, the major work in 2018 was arranged, the work implementation plan was discussed, and the suggestions were given by the participants. The attendees were Bian Faji, Vice Chairman of Hebei Committee of CPPCC and Chairman of Hebei Committee of China Democratic League, Zhen Zhongyi, a member of the Standing Committee of Hebei Committee of China Democratic League and the President of HBAFA, cadres of the provincial democratic league, as well as people in provincial working committee, the grass-root committee of Hebei University of Technology, and the grass-root committee of Huayou. It was hosted by Zhang Chaojun, the Vice Chairman of Hebei Committee of China Democratic League.

The opening ceremony was launched at 10 o’clock in the morning. The attendees learned the spirit of 19th national congress of CPC and the Two Sessions. Then, President Zhen Zhongyi delivered a welcome speech and called on others to give constructive suggestions to build an economically strong and environmentally beautiful province.

Bian Faji also gave an important speech, which highlighted the importance of political participation, self construction and correctness of suggestions. Meanwhile, he thought that cadres could play a significant role in daily work.

In addition, the conference commended the advanced groups and individual in reflecting people’s will and suggestions.

In the afternoon, the participants were divided into groups to have a discussion. The delegates of every group talked about their ideas about Bian’s speech and suggestions on the work of Hebei Committee of China Democratic League.

On April 11, the participants learned Xi Jinping’s ideas on united front and listened the report on the 70 anniversary of “Mayday” slogan.

The conference made the major works of Hebei Committee of China Democratic League in 2018, provided the correct directions and had great significance.
