On the 9th of January, the commendation meeting for the education and administration of students and the work of employment and entrepreneurship was held in Zhengcheng International Lecture Hall. More than 400 people, including President Zhen Zhongyi, Managing Vice President Zhang Jianmin, Vice President Zhang Ziyan, Zhen Xinheng, who is Vice President and the Secretary of the Commission for Inspecting Discipline, the General Secretaries of Schools, Counselors, and Student Delegates attended the meeting, which was presided by Wei Lifeng, the Director of the Office of Students Affairs.

Before the meeting, the leaders of HBAFA visited the achievements of “Deepening the Brand of Academy Motto and Tempering Students’ Capability” in 2017, checked and recognized the work.

At the commendation meeting, the President Zhen Zhongyi made the opening speech, evaluated the education and administration of students and the work of employment and entrepreneurship in 2017 objectively and thoroughly, and stressed the co-existence of opportunities and challenges. He hope that teachers could excavate “the source of motivation, wisdom, and power” from three perspectives, which are “students’ desire to learn, education and teaching practice, and teacher’s responsibility and mission.”

Then, Zhen Xinheng, Vice President and the Secretary of the Commission for Inspecting Discipline, read out the recognition decision for the advanced units of “Brand-building” and enlistment work, the outstanding classes at the Academy level, excellent student cadres and “three good” students. Soon after, the leaders of the Academy issued work capital and certificates of honors.

Finally, Zhang Jianmin, the Managing Vice President, gave a summary speech. In his speech, he clearly put forward four directions of students education and administration, i.e. “work hard with a correct direction, rise patiently with profound accumulation, innovate bravely with feet on the ground and combine comment and building together with comment stimulating reform.” This meeting is not only the recognition of the work of students education and administration in the past, but also a spur on the work in the future. We shall continue to work hard and make a bright future in students education and administration.
